Camas Healthcare is in a healthcare collective called Wild Rose Health Collective. We are a like-minded holistic group of clinicians that aim to engage our community in healing and well being. Wild Rose Health Collective is a calming and casual setting in the Mahonia Building on Shelton McMurphey Blvd near downtown Eugene.

Getting to the clinic:

  • Directions to the clinic are provided here

  • Parking: there are several parking spots available in the Mahonia parking lot with a sign that says Wild Rose Health Collective, feel free to park in them. In the spirit of environmental conservation, I also encourage you to walk, ride your bike, or carpool! Free parking is available along Lincoln and Lawrence streets, and paid parking is available in the Diamond parking lot on the east side of the Mahonia building.

  • Our health collective location in the building: Wild Rose Health Collective and Camas Healthcare are located on the Third Floor of the Mahonia Building. From the East side of the Mahonia building entrance, there is an elevator and a set of stairs. From the North side of the building, you can take the stairs to the third floor. We are on the West side of the building.

Practice Values and appointments

You can anticipate a professional, respectful, and compassionate approach as we collaborate on your health concerns. Building a trusting and positive relationship is essential in primary care, so it’s important to ensure that we are well-matched in this partnership. The initial appointment will allow us to determine if we are a good fit to work together effectively for years to come.

Initial Appointment
During this time, we will discuss your health history, current concerns, and any symptoms you may be experiencing. I will ask you some standardized questions that may be relevant to your situation. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to share any other information you'd like me to know and to ask any questions you may have. This collaborative approach helps us create the most effective care plan tailored to your needs.

Treatment Planning
After your intitial appointment we may need to schedule some follow up appointments to gather more information to come up with a plan for treatment. It may take one or two more sessions to gather enough information to complete the plan. I will ask for your input in terms of what issues you are most concerned about, what you would like to prioritize, and what your expectations are for your treatment.

Follow up appointments
Regular follow-up appointments are essential for individuals engaged in ongoing treatment plans and health maintenance. These visits provide an opportunity to assess your response to treatment and to check for any new symptoms related to your existing diagnoses. For those with fewer health concerns, annual preventative check-ins may suffice. During these preventative visits, we can review recommended health screenings and discuss your current health status, ensuring that you remain informed and proactive about your well-being.

Please note that my approach to patient care is conservative, and I often recommend non-medication options for condition management including nutritional, physical or psychologically related modalities. As such I do not prescribe chronic benzodiazepines or opioids and require a prior formal evaluation with a neuropsychologist or psychiatrist for stimulant prescribing for ADHD.
